Through ABBA’s greatest hits, Mamma Mia! tells the comical story of Sophie, on a small Greek island, who dreams of the perfect wedding – one which includes her father giving her away.

This unforgettable tale of love, laughter and family and friendship is set to ABBA classics including “Dancing Queen,” “S.O.S.,” “Super Trouper,” “Take A Chance on Me,” “The Winner Takes It All,” and the title song “Mamma Mia!”

“I am thrilled to be the first theatre in the area to present this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship,” said Lou Ursone, Curtain Call’s executive director and producer for Mamma Mia.

Directing Mamma Mia is veteran Curtain Call director, Tom Coppola, whose last production was the sold out production of Gypsy.

The cast of 28 features many former Curtain Call performers along with many making their debut with this Stamford company. The three leading ladies of Mamma Mia, Donna, Tanya and Rosie, will be played by Juliette Koch, Gillian Bailey and Tracy Marble, respectively.

Performances will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m., beginning Sept. 14 and continuing through Oct. 14.
